About Your english Teacher

My journey into foreign language began when I was young. At eighteen years of age, I learned how to speak Spanish by association and interaction with native speakers. Thereafter, I attended a university and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in both Spanish and French. I completed a certification program for translators. I attended graduate school to complete my Master of Arts degree in Secondary Foreign Language Education and English as a Second Language. My published master's thesis is entitled, Computer Assisted Instruction-Its Value to Second Language Learners. In addition, I have written books entitled ESL strategies and Language Teaching Ideas and The BALL is in your Court-Learning a Foreign Language. I have gained over 20 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), Spanish, French, and German in public schools and over 30 years of experience teaching English to adults.
I am a university instructor who teaches bilingual, ESL, and global language methodology courses. I continue my studies in curriculum and instruction, conduct research, and develop language learning materials. Since many curriculum developers are not teachers, I hope my perspective as an educator will contribute substantially to the field of language education.
